“We abandon them and it makes us sick”: caregivers deplore the closure of a dispensary in Lyon

Located in the heart of Lyon, a social health center, dedicated to the most precarious people, will close its doors. Too much debt, the establishment will be sold.

7000 patients in a precarious situation are now without a doctor. The Sévigné dispensary, located in the heart of Lyon in the 3ᵉ arrondissement, will close its doors in January 2024 after 205 years of activity.

Since 1818, the center has provided access to care for everyone.
