In the past, many conservatives have been quick to defend law enforcement and denounce any calls for police reform. However, as the evidence and testimonies have unfolded in the courtroom, even some of the staunchest conservative voices have acknowledged the need for change and accountability in our justice system.
The change in conservative attitudes towards federal involvement is not only limited to domestic issues. The administration’s approach to foreign policy has also been met with approval by many on the right. President Biden has taken a tough stance against countries like China and Russia, and his decision to withdraw troops from Afghanistan has been met with praise from conservatives who have long been critical of America’s endless wars.
Of course, this is not to say that all conservatives now support every action taken by the Biden administration. Far from it.
