CSK’s biggest fan Ambati Rayudu blasts MS Dhoni & Co for “below-par” batting

The Chennai Super Kings (CSK) have been one of the most successful teams in the Indian Premier League (IPL) since its inception. Led by the legendary MS Dhoni, the team has always been a fan favorite and has consistently performed well in the tournament. However, the 2021 season has been a major disappointment for the team and its fans, with the team failing to qualify for the playoffs for the second consecutive year. And now, former CSK batter Ambati Rayudu has admitted that the team may not be able to make it to the playoffs in the upcoming IPL 2025.

In a recent interview, Rayudu, who was a key player for CSK in the past, expressed his disappointment with the team’s performance in the 2021 season. He also took a dig at the team’s captain MS Dhoni and the rest of the players for their “below-par” batting. Rayudu’s comments have caused quite a stir among CSK fans, who have always been known for their unwavering support for the team.

Speaking about CSK’s performance this season, Rayudu said, “It’s really sad to see CSK not performing up to their usual standards. As a former player and a die-hard fan of the team, it’s disheartening to see them struggle on the field. The batting has been a major concern this season, and I think the team needs to work on that if they want to make it to the playoffs in the future.”

Rayudu’s comments have raised questions about the team’s future and whether they will be able to bounce back in the upcoming seasons. The 35-year-old, who was an integral part of CSK’s batting line-up in the past, also took a dig at the team’s captain MS Dhoni, who has been facing criticism for his own batting form.

“MS Dhoni has been the backbone of CSK for so many years, but even he has not been able to perform as per his standards this season. As a fan, I have always supported him, but I think he needs to take responsibility for the team’s performance and work on his own batting as well,” said Rayudu.

The former CSK batter also pointed out that the team’s batting has been heavily reliant on a few players, which has been a major downfall for the team this season. He believes that the team needs to have a more balanced batting line-up in order to be successful in the future.

“CSK has always been known for its strong batting line-up, but this season, we have seen that the team has heavily relied on a few players. This has been a major issue, and I think the team needs to work on building a more balanced batting line-up in the upcoming seasons,” said Rayudu.

Despite his criticism of the team, Rayudu remains a loyal fan of CSK and hopes that the team will bounce back in the future. He also urged the fans to continue supporting the team through thick and thin.

“As a fan, I have always believed in the team and its players. I have no doubt that CSK will come back stronger in the upcoming seasons. It’s important for us, as fans, to continue supporting the team and show our love and loyalty, no matter what the results are,” said Rayudu.

In conclusion, while it’s disheartening to hear that CSK may not be able to make it to the playoffs in the upcoming IPL 2025, it’s important for the team and its fans to remain positive and work towards improving their performance. With the support of their loyal fans and the determination of the players, CSK can surely overcome this setback and come back stronger in the future. After all, as the saying goes, “Once a CSK fan, always a CSK fan.”
