Frances Valentine’s Elyce Arons to Give Keynote Address at LIM College Commencement

The much-anticipated commencement ceremony for the graduating class of 2020 is just around the corner, and we couldn’t be more excited to announce that it will be taking place on May 17 at 1 p.m. at the prestigious David Geffen Hall at Lincoln Center.

This is a momentous occasion for all of our graduates, their families, and the entire academic community. It marks the culmination of years of hard work, dedication, and perseverance. And what better way to celebrate this milestone than in the grand and iconic setting of Lincoln Center?

For those who may not be familiar, David Geffen Hall is a world-renowned concert hall located in the heart of New York City. It has hosted some of the most prestigious events and performances, making it the perfect venue for our commencement ceremony. Its grand architecture, exceptional acoustics, and rich history will undoubtedly add to the already special atmosphere of the event.

The ceremony will begin at 1 p.m. sharp, so we urge all graduates and their guests to arrive on time to ensure that they don’t miss a moment of this unforgettable experience. The doors will open at 12 p.m., giving everyone ample time to find their seats and soak in the grandeur of the hall. We also ask that everyone kindly turns off their cell phones and other electronic devices during the ceremony to avoid any distractions.

We are pleased to announce that this year’s commencement speaker will be none other than the renowned author and activist, Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie. She is a powerful voice for social justice and equality, and we are honored to have her address our graduating class. Her words of wisdom and inspiration will undoubtedly leave a lasting impact on all of us.

In addition to the commencement address, the ceremony will include the traditional procession of graduates, the conferral of degrees, and the ceremonial tassel turning. It will be a moment of great pride and joy for everyone involved, and we encourage all graduates to make the most of this special moment.

We would also like to extend a special invitation to the families and friends of our graduates. We know that their support and encouragement have been instrumental in the success of our graduates, and we are delighted to have them join us in celebrating this milestone. We ask that they please RSVP by May 10, so we can ensure that there is enough seating for everyone.

Finally, we would like to remind everyone that this is a formal event, and we request that all attendees dress accordingly. Graduates are required to wear their academic regalia, and guests are encouraged to dress in business or business casual attire.

As we approach the date of the commencement ceremony, we can’t help but feel a sense of pride and excitement. This will be a day to remember for all of our graduates as they embark on the next chapter of their lives. And we are honored to be a part of this momentous occasion.

So mark your calendars, May 17 at 1 p.m. at David Geffen Hall at Lincoln Center. We can’t wait to see you all there, ready to celebrate the incredible achievements of our graduates. Let’s make this a commencement ceremony to remember!
