It’s Time to Shed Some Light on U.S. Investment in Communist China | Opinion

Americans Trust Their System to Work for Them, Not for Their Greatest Adversary

The United States of America is a nation built on the principles of democracy, freedom, and justice. It is a nation that has long been a beacon of hope for those seeking a better life and a better future. As such, it is no surprise that Americans have a deep-seated trust in their system of government and the laws that govern it. This trust is based on the belief that the system works for them, not for their greatest adversary.

Unfortunately, this trust has been tested in recent years as the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) has become increasingly aggressive in its attempts to expand its influence and power. The CCP has used a variety of tactics to achieve its goals, including economic coercion, cyber espionage, and military aggression. These actions have threatened the security and stability of the United States and its allies, and have put the American people at risk.

In response to these threats, the United States must take decisive action to protect its citizens and its interests. This means enacting straightforward legislation to contain the CCP’s dangerous activities. Such legislation should include measures to strengthen economic sanctions, increase cyber security, and enhance military readiness. It should also include measures to ensure that the United States is not providing any economic or military assistance to the CCP.

At the same time, the United States must also work to strengthen its alliances and partnerships with other nations. This includes working with like-minded countries to counter the CCP’s influence and to promote a rules-based international order. The United States should also work to ensure that its allies and partners are not providing any economic or military assistance to the CCP.

Finally, the United States must also work to ensure that its citizens are informed and educated about the threats posed by the CCP. This includes providing accurate information about the CCP’s activities and its intentions, as well as educating the public about the importance of standing up for democracy and freedom.
